The Sahlgrenska Academy has signed cooperation agreements for student exchange with four medical schools in different parts of the world. These agreements allow for student exchange in both directions.

The Sahlgrenska Academy has signed cooperative agreements of student exchange with four different Medical Schools in the United States. The agreements offer the possibility for 2 to 4 medical students per year to study at University of Gothenburg for a period of 4 to 12 weeks. The number of students and study weeks is fixed in each agreement. No tuition fees are charged for visiting students.

The language of instruction of the medical core curriculum is Swedish, but we offer electives in English intended for visiting students from our partner universities in the US. We are currently building an elective book. For applying students we will make individual arrangemnets for each student.
